Adam Bold 

Adam Bold

Chairman of the Board

Mr. Bold founded The Mutual Fund Store® in 1996 after previously working as a stockbroker at Prudential Securities and Smith Barney. He is the host of The Mutual Fund Show®, the nationally syndicated radio show that airs every Saturday morning in more than 65 markets across the country. His expertise in the investment industry has made him a frequent contributor to national media outlets, including US News & World Report, Fox Business, CNBC, Forbes and SmartMoney. In addition, Mr. Bold was named the 2006 Central Region Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young. He is the author of two books, including The Bold Truth About Investing.

John Bunch

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Bunch has been Chief Executive Officer of The Mutual Fund Store since February of 2012. He is responsible for the day-to-day stewardship of the company, its direction and overall business strategy. He arrived from TD Ameritrade, where he was President of Retail Distribution and served in multiple executive capacities in seven years there. Prior to that, he held several leadership positions at Charles Schwab & Co. over the course of 11 years. Mr. Bunch attended the University of Iowa and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.

Chris Elliott

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Elliott has been Chief Financial Officer of The Mutual Fund Store since August of 2007. Previously, he served in the same role with LyonRoss Capital Management, a New York financial advisory firm, and the boutique cafe chain Dean & Deluca. Earlier in his career, Mr. Elliot worked for Ernst & Young and several different holding companies where he supported a variety of businesses, including Pizza Hut restaurants and Candlewood Hotels. Mr. Elliot, a Certified Public Accountant, graduated from Wichita State University.

Ted Bloomberg

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Bloomberg has been Chief Operating Officer of The Mutual Fund Store since July of 2012. He is responsible for company operations, direction and strategy. He arrived from TD Ameritrade, where he was most recently Managing Director of Investools and served in multiple capacities in his 10 years there. Previously, he was a consultant to the financial services industry for several years. Mr. Bloomberg graduated from Cornell University.

Chris Bouffard 

Chris Bouffard

Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Bouffard has been the Chief Investment Officer of The Mutual Fund Research Center® since January of 2013. He is responsible for directing the Research Center’s investment manager research and managing the firm’s asset allocation models. He brings 20 years of experience to the role, most recently as Vice President of Portfolio Research at American Century Investments. Previously, he was Manager of Closed-End Fund Products and Research at Lipper, a Thomson Reuters company. He is a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute, and a member, as well as past president, of the CFA Society of Kansas City. Mr. Bouffard graduated from The University of Vermont.
